A Gothic Elegy for December.
It’s perhaps no coincidence that this is the season for lights, celebration and jollity; providing a mask for the potential bleakness of winter and what, for many, is a time of reflection, longing and regret. The mask can slip, however.
"Come What May" appears in its original piano-led ‘school choir’ version on "Iniquitous", the forthcoming sequel to much loved BSC album, "Mystery Fields". A haunted hymn of sorts, it acts as the theme song to the dark drama The Sins of the Living (adapted from the novel by Agatha Sheldon); a chilling, ghostly tale set in a Victorian boarding school.
This alternate ‘single version’ – released in advance of the new album – has been reworked and reinvented; and features a haunting lead vocal by Subphotic’s Rebecca Denniff.
Castles in Space and The British Stereo Collective will be donating all profits from this release to

Colin's daughter worked at Solace for a year and although she didn't say much about her time there, it's glaringly apparent that this dedicated team of women are genuinely saving lives and helping vulnerable women in the most difficult of circumstances. They are a fantastic charity with an excellent reputation.
From their website:
"Violence against women and girls ends here.
Solace Women’s Aid offers free advice and support to women and children in London to build safe and strong lives. Futures free from male abuse and violence."
This single is a bandcamp exclusive. We have made this a pay what you can release, but anything you can give will go directly to Solace. We will publish full details of all funds raised for them in the new year.
As ever, thanks for listening. xx
